Soraya De Cinque is a risk and compliance specialist with extensive experience across financial services, general insurance, banking, and financial planning. She excels at transforming complex regulatory requirements into practical, auditable processes that enhance customer outcomes while meeting APRA and ASIC standards. Her expertise spans operational risk management, regulatory compliance, and change management to ensure sustainable improvements across organizations.

With a career that includes significant roles at major financial institutions, Soraya has demonstrated leadership in risk and compliance functions. Most recently at IAG, she was part of the Operational Risk team in Retail Insurance Australia, supporting Digital, CX & Marketing and Strategic Enablement functions by leading risk assessments and coordinating compliance plan activities to ensure regulatory adherence. At RAC Insurance, she managed a Line 1 risk team in Claims as Compliance & Assurance Manager, and previously served as Senior Risk & Compliance Specialist providing Line 2 assurance. She also led quality assurance and remediation initiatives at Insignia Financial, including Deloitte-conducted reviews.

Earlier in her career, Soraya held compliance positions across advice compliance and external audits with Westpac, Wealth Today, and 3 Lines Consulting, building a strong foundation in financial services regulation. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Kaplan. Soraya is a Member of the Risk Management Institute of Australasia and a Certified Risk Manager, maintaining proficiency with industry tools including Protecht, ServiceNow, and Salesforce, along with in-depth knowledge of key regulatory frameworks such as CPS 230/220, RG 271/277, and the CGC "Making Better Claims Decisions" framework.
